Adobe’s Evolving Brand Identity

Adobe recently updated it’s branding on all of its plethora of Creative Applications. They were conducting surveys recently about what customers thought of their Brand. Since Adobe apps are identified by Color and the two-letter abbreviation on it, and it made sense to me to have the main Creative Cloud App used to update and install all of the Apps to become a gradient.

Also as a part of updating was simplifying each individual app icon by softening the corners, tweaking the text, and removing the border. See below.

While this isn’t the most groundbreaking Brand Refresh, I don’t think it needed to be. I believe this refreshes goal was to simplify and establish more of a sense of hierarchy across the brand. You can read the full post from Adobe here.
